How has the world you come from shaped your dreams and aspirations? None of my immediate family members, including my mother, sister, grandmother, and aunts, have participated in attending a four year college out of high school. My greatest goal is to be the first out of my household, which will aid me into creating a sustainable lifestyle in the future.
Of all the ways you could succeed in your life, why have you chosen to succeed in the Miss Auburn Pageant? The Miss America Pageant goes beyond rewarding girls with scholarship money for college; rather, it instills confidence, poise, and other beneficial and life-changing skills into young women. This confidence cannot be measured in any monetary amount, which is why I am so excited to be participating in the Miss Auburn Pageant.
What social issue, other than your platform, will have the greatest impact on your generation and why? The ever present limitation of jobs, especially for those aged 18-25, currently holds the greatest impact on my generation. That, combined with the growing prices of college tuition, is making it extremely for young men and woman to find a career, and thus beginning the lives they want to live.
